With its scanning technology, scanning processes and trained scanning staff, ICM can scan almost any document independent of size, media or type. Large scanning projects, typically backfiles, can be completed in minimal timeframes with three-shift scanning operations and the utilization of multiple scanners. ICM employs a wide range of different media scanners to address small format black & white documents, small and large format color documents, large format drawings and maps, preprinted and completed forms, aerial photos, microfilm, aperture cards, roll film and microfiche.

In addition to media, ICM's scanning capabilities can also be viewed from another aspect, namely, major classification. These classifications impact the scanning process as well as and how the documents are processed after they are scanned. These classifications are as follows:
